Townsville Inline Hockey would like to thank you for taking the time to

World Record attempt 2009
We did it.

we successfully completed 25 hours 14 minutes and 3 sec's,
the final score ended up Light 219 to Dark 226
We would like to give a Special thanks to all the Volunteers, Officials,
Stewards, Sponsors, medical staff and anyone else who helped. Without you,
this event would not have been possible. We would also like to thank all the
players that participated, especially those who came from Cairns and Mackay.

The statistics for the world
record attempt
On Sunday the 13th of September, we successfully completed 25 hours 14
minutes and 3 seconds of continuously playing inline hockey. The puck was
dropped at 12.30pm Saturday the 12th of September and we finished at 1.44 on
Sunday the 13th of September.
More information and photos are coming, once we have compiled all the
statements and logs.
If anyone that attended the event has any photos/videos, could I please get
a copy. As the more evidence we have, the better our chances of the record

Currently the record stands at 24 hours, By the 8K roller hockey league from
Eastpointe, Michigan USA. We are going to attempt to beat the 24 hours and
continue to 30 hours.
We have two teams (Home and Away) they both consist of 14 floor players and
2 Goalies, (32 player in total). They have to play non stop for 24 hours,
They are able to have a 5 minute comfort break every hour. Players are not
permitted to leave the venue at any time, if they do then they are on longer
permitted to participate.
